( vote)In Nov 1, 2007, Google launched Its First Cloud Data Centers in Mumbai, India. It is hosted across three Mumbai data centers, each housing a separate cloud availability zone.
The new Mumbai region, asia-south1, joins Singapore, Taiwan, Sydney and Tokyo in Asia Pacific and makes it easier to build highly available, performant applications using resources across those geographies. This data center is mainly used for hosting applications as GCP (Google Cloud Platform) region.
But if you check Google Data center locations, Mumbai region or any Indian city is not listed. (As of Jan 2020)
